Forensic Electrical Engineer Position Fire Research Laboratory
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Fire Research Laboratory is recruiting for an electrical engineer. The Fire Research Laboratory provides technical support to criminal investigations. Evaluating the potential for electrical systems to cause fires and electrical testing of a variety of items is a primary focus of the position. A successful applicant is an individual with broad exposure to electrical supply, distribution and utilization equipment in the field and the laboratory.
The position is located in Ammendale, Maryland a suburb of Washington, DC. A background investigation
for a Top Secret clearance must be successfully completed for employment. The closing date for
applications is December 28. The ATF personnel office must receive completed applications by that
